I'm still seeing the Starving Artist. I go through cycles when I think he is manipulating me, and others when he seems so vulnerable, honest, and good-humored. I have realized that again I am dating across the geek chasm, and it's a scary cultural gap. Even though he went to a well-known geeky high school and taught high school math for awhile, he has never even seen or read the geek canon, like Monty Python and Hitchhiker. He has a fantastic vocabulary, and he catches on quickly to everything, but the first social event I went to with him, I ran into some friends from grad school and college, and he was very quiet until art came up.
I'm still talking to the wedding guy whom I met at my friend's wedding this July, and we have a lot in common, and we're going to meet for the first time since the wedding around New Year's.
Nothing else imminent, just additional first dates.
